Spring Skirts

For someone who only started wearing midi-length skirts and dresses last year, my wardrobe sure is full of them. I have midi skirts in nearly every colour, texture and pattern but that did not stop me from adding yet another one to my collection in the form of this satin skirt from Joy. The deep midnight blue caught my eye straight away and whilst it may not be a typical "spring" colour, it's easy to style with a clean white top (yep I'm sorry not sorry for wearing this white top yet again!), dainty shoes and some grungy accessories. Joy has the cutest spring clothes in at the moment (watch out for an adorbs vintage-style sweater coming soon!) and this skirt is also available in pink if you want to break up your winter darks with some more season-appropriate colours!

*OVERSIZED WHITE TOP: c/o THE SIDE PARTY / *PLEATED SATIN MIDI SKIRT: c/o JOY / *ICON MINI MESSENGER BAG: c/o MAIYET / *RICHMOND WATCH: c/o ELIE BEAUMONT / *CHAKRA BRACELET: c/o DAISY LONDON / NUDE PATENT SANDALS: PRIMARK / STUDDED CHOKER: ASOS

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but has Primark upped their game recently or what?! I've always been a fan of the old Primarni but always found them a bit hit and miss, with either everything or nothing. Recently, every single time I've been in I've come away with a basket absolutely rammed full of stuff I didn't know I needed and last time, it was this pair of shoes. They're inspired by Valentino for sure with the patent nude material and the studs and although I'd love a pair of the real thing, I just can't splash out that much so this dupe will do just nicely. They're so cheap, comfy and they're so chic, creating the perfect smart-casual spring shoe. I actually want to go back to Primark right now to give them a good old raid....

As you'll know I'm rarely without some form of jewellery and that's especially true when it comes to arm and neck candy. Obviously I'm wearing my favourite choker that I wear nearly every single day of my existence  and a couple of new additions too from my favourite jewellery brands. The new Elie Beaumont Richmond Collection is the Instagrammer's dream, with a sleek simple strap and a marble face, it's the ultimate blogger watch that I know is going to become one of my favourites. I won't say much more about Elie Beaumont because I talk about the brand so much on this blog but if you want an affordable but timeless piece to add to your jewellery box, Elie Beamont is the brand to go to.

The chakra bracelet is one of my new pieces from Daisy London, who I've teamed up with for their Mother's Day competition. You may recall my post from last week where I went to Rockliffe Hall with my mum to celebrate Mother's Day and Daisy London are giving you the chance to win the same, along with a whole boat load of their jewellery! Enter the competition on their website and read my perfect Mother's Day blog post after you do!

Have you started getting your spring clothes back out yet?
