If there was an outfit that summed up my style in a nutshell, this would be it. Faux leather? Check. Oversized top? Check. Ankle boots? Check. Another recent purchase I didn't really need but bought anyway? Check. Ideally, I would minus out the black tights but it's currently minus one outside and my milk bottle white little pins are not ready to be exposed to such extremes right now so the tights had to come out to save the day.
So the recent purchase that I really didn't need (but absolutely did need at the same time) is the faux leather buckle skirt. Missguided has got to be my favourite brand for when I want something a little bit sassy and last week I was definitely in need of a pick me up. This skirt is such a winner in my eyes. Is it it over the top? Hell yes but I love everything about it and I've also been teaming it with my super sassy slogan tees but for this outfit, I coupled it with the a slouchy oversized top from a brand that's new to me.
BLACK FAUX LEATHER BUCKLE SKIRT: MISSGUIDED / *NEXT PHASE OVERSIZED TOP: c/o THE SIDE PARTY / *METALLIC SILVER BOOTS: c/o KURT GEIGER / *MINI MICHAEL KORS BAG: c/o FARFETCH / *GREY WATCH: c/o KARTEL /
Everyone also knows I'm obsessed with watches and barely a day goes by where I'm not sporting one on my wrist. I love discovering new watch brands and some of my favourite pieces have come from working with brands on my blog and this beauty from Kartel is definitely one of those pieces. Their watches are simple, modern and classic and I personally love the grey fabric strap on this one as opposed to the usual leather I go. Their watches are also really affordable for pieces that will take you through the years to come (I'm sure you're all too aware of how much watches can cost!) and for the quality, the price point of Kartel is absolutely spot on.
