So here we have it - the start of the sale purchases blog posts. I got a bit spendy on Christmas Day and made some sales orders (obviously with the excuse of "well it is Christmas") and unfortunately I loved everything I ordered and couldn't send anything back. What a shame ey?! Anyway this simply beautiful green dress was one of the first things I clocked in the ASOS sale and I'll admit I was unsure whether I'd like it. As someone who's quite petite, I do struggle to get midi length skirts and dresses to sit right on me but when this one arrived, I just fell head over heels for it.
MIDI LEOPARD PRINT TEA DRESS, CHUNKY BLACK CHOKER: ASOS / *BLACK FRINGE ANKLE BOOTS: c/o KURT GEIGER / *LEATHER JACKET: c/o ALLSAINTS / BLACK BAG: ZARA / *GREEN WATCH: c/o ELIE BEAUMONT
First of all, I love that it's got a bit of a gritty, grungy feel despite being a pretty tea dress. Everyone will already know that I'm sucker for animal print and the dark forest green of this one was a perfect addition to my ever growing collection. I know I forgot to take a photo from behind (naughty blogger) but it actually has a really pretty cut-out back too and even though it was about -3 outside when the dress arrived, I still wore it and nearly froze to death but hey, I looked cool right?! The dress actually has a pretty good saving on it too and as I write this post it's still in stock (but I can't make promises so quick if you like it!) - head over to ASOS here to get your hands on it!
For me, wearing pretty dresses with chunky boots is the best thing ever. I'm not really a "girly" or "cute" dresser for the most part so I always feel more comfortable if I can throw something a bit different in with my outfits and boots or chokers are definitely my go-to. I'm actually on the hunt for some new black boots (yeah, like I need any more right?) because there is a patent and pointy boot shaped hole in my life so if you have any suggestions then please hit me up with some links!
Brace yourself for more sale outfits coming your way! I love a good bargain as much as the next gal and my wardrobe is ever expanding so be prepared for some good ol' steals!
Where have you been sale shopping this year?
