Layering is a key part of my winter wardrobe. I still want to look and feel stylish as much as possible over the winter months whilst still keeping warm, especially considering I've been on a few winter trips this year too so have had to think about what to pack. This coat from Coast is a new addition in my winter wardrobe (like I needed another coat I know!) and I can't get over how much I love it. The grey and white stitching teamed with the elegant fit and the silver fastenings mean it's a super chic piece to layer and is definitely one of those pieces that is going to be able to be worn season after season.

Sweatshirts and shirts are one of my favourite things to layer together. I actually wore this shirt under another sweatshirt in my last outfit post and although the concept of the two outfits are similar, the end looks couldn't be more different. For me, the key to wearing a lot of layers at the same time is going for different lengths. I went for the oversized shirt with the shorter sweatshirt from La Redoute and they contrast so well with the knee length coat. Having different lengths just makes sure that each layer isn't swallowed up by the one on top and that you don't just end up looking like the Michelin man, which is way too easily done when layering as I know too well!
The boots are a new addition to my wardrobe from an old favourite of mine and every other shoe lover in the world, Kurt Geiger. I just cannot resist a pair of boots from KG and I swear I've never seen a pair that I haven't liked. The snake print of this pair of beauties contrasts so well with the rest of the outfit and as you probably well know, I love a good pair of statement shoes no matter what time of year it is!
I won't be posting again until after Christmas now so I hope you all have a wonderful day and eat all of the roast potatoes you possibly can. See you soon!
