Going From Night To Day With F&F

Happy December guys! The Christmas month is officially upon us and it's now really time to start thinking about our wardrobes for over the next few weeks with all of the dinners, parties and nights out I'm sure everyone has planned. All around us brands and stores are releasing their Christmas ranges and in my opinion, F&F have got it spot on. Over the last few years, F&F have really upped their game in the style stakes and have brought us stylish and on trend pieces for all ages, styles and sizes, and their AW16 collection may be my favourite yet.

This first outfit is definitely one for the smarter Christmas days. You know, the family dinners, the work get togethers and anything else that needs a little bit more shazzam. The dress is absolutely perfect for this time of year with the deep colour tartan, the midi length and the thick material and I actually really like it teamed with the more casual ankle boots. It would be so easy to dress up even more with a pair of cool heels too but for me, I wanted to style this in a really smart way. I went all out with the textures, the thick material of the jumper going hand in hand with the pinafore and of course, how could I not mention those sleeves?! They're a really great and easy way to make a statement in any outfit and look absolutely amazing teamed with the vintage feel of the F&F pieces.

Now this second outfit is the very epitome of being cosy for winter. The knitted hat, the thick shearling jacket and the sparkly jumper all reflect what the F&F AW16 collection is all about. Mixtures of fabrics and materials with clashing textures that work oh-so well for this time of year, it's all about glam, whether it's all out for the evening or subtle sparkle for the day time. The quality of all of the clothing is absolutely amazing and pieces like the jacket are sure to see me through for season to come.

I also love the watch here too from one of my favourite watch brands Timex. I have so many Timex watches (it's actually a bit ridiculous how many I have but I can't stop!) and this one is perfect for day time wear. It's simple with the beautiful beige strap and I've actually got some Timex gifts planned for some lucky family members on Christmas Day. I just think they get it so right when it comes to classic pieces and these watches truly are timeless pieces that I know I'll never tire of.
