All Black

All black is definitely my go-to when I can't decide what to wear. I've had these jeans in my wardrobe for absolutely ages and I've worn them to death, so much so that they're actually on their last legs (pun definitely intended there) and I really need to invest in some new ones. However I just don't think I could bear to throw them away; I love them that much that when they're in the wash I basically have jean withdrawal symptoms. I'm sure everyone knows the feeling right or am I just overly attached to a pair of jeans?

 The black chiffon top is one I picked up on one of the magical days in November where Missguided had 50% off everything. I'm not sure how I managed it after I knew people were waiting in queues of 70,000 shoppers but I got my hands on everything I wanted and I'm in love with this top. It's actually from the petite exclusive range so if you're party sized like me then this is definitely one for you. It's a great top to have in your wardrobe for when you want to look smart but don't want to dress up, which is basically me every day to be quite honest, and considering how much of a budget buy it was, the quality is actually great too. Obviously I had to add some statement boots though and I went for my new favs from Dorothy Perkins. The block heel, the star embellishment, the mirror heel...they're everything I could ever want in a black boot and although I really didn't need any more boots in my wardrobe, I had to justify these to myself with "but they're so pretty!"

My mermaid hair is also back which I'm so pleased about and this time I did it in my own bathroom instead of live on stage! I'm really pleased with how it's turned out and I think it gives my hair a little bit of edge. I'm thinking about trying another colour next time - what do you think about pink or purple?
