1. WEAR YOUR FAVOURITE PYJAMAS
I love new pyjamas and if I don't buy new pairs regularly I start to get PJ withdrawals so I was so excited to open my package from YooMoo to find a pair of personalised silky pyjamas. They have my initials monogrammed into the pocket (am I posh yet?!) and are the most beautiful piece of nightwear I've had in a while - I'm even tempted to start going to the supermarket in them.... Comfy loungewear that makes you feel good is essential for any successful night in. I also like to add my super fluffy white dressing gown and adorable googly eye slippers. Yup, you read that right. I am a proud owner of googly eye slippers.
2. GET THE RIGHT SNACKS IN
If you don't have amazing snacks are you really having a night in???? You've got to have enough snacks and treats to get you through the night along with your drink of choice, whether it's a glass of rose or a cup of tea. I love getting take out pizza when it comes to my night in (with garlic sauce obvs) and you've gotta get the desserts. YooMoo sent over some of their famous frozen yoghurt, something I've been a fan of for ages now but surprisingly I'd never tried the vanilla. The tasty, creamy yoghurt makes the perfect night in snack - you know the kind that once you have a spoonful of you just can't stop eating?!
3. SET THE SCENE
For me, a cosy night in has to have the right atmosphere and at this time of year it's all about the cute lights. I love to get the Christmas tree lights on, switch my light box on, fairy lights on and light my favourite candles. I basically build myself a cosy shrine in my living room surrounded by tea lights, my quilt and some fluffy cushions, probably with the rain and wind battering the window considering I live in the north east but hey, anything that makes it cosier right?
4. HAVE SOME PAMPER PREP
You know what I'm going to say - yup, you've gotta have a red hot bath before your night in with a Lush Bath Bomb. Are you even having a cosy night in if it doesn't involve something from Lush?! I like to have a soak in the bath and do everything I can to make myself feel a bit more relaxed, whether it's painting my nails, washing my hair or using a face mask. There's nothing quite like that feeling where you just feel all soft and clean - bliss!
5. HAVE SOME FUN
Nights in are supposed to be fun as well as chilled so you have to add some really cool touches to make it a bit different. My night in package from YooMoo had the cutest ice cream sundae kit with sweeties and tall pink glasses so I could have some fun with my frozen yoghurt and it was the best. I don't know about anyone else but I think that things just taste better out of really cool bowls don't you? Plus you've gotta make your night as Instagrammable as possible right....?
6. PUT YOUR FAVOURITE FILMS ON
Nights in are the time to binge watch. For me it's usually a couple of the Harry Potter films but Netflix is always a good choice too (remember that for nights in, when we say "Netflix and chill" we actually mean Netflix and chill!). I binge watched almost the entire first season of Jessica Jones on one of my nights in and had no regrets because it was amazinggg. I also love putting on some cheesy TV or some Christmas films at this time of year!
What do you like to do on your nights in?

Your nights in look cozy indeed. As long as the North wind isn't blowing too hard (drafty house) the nights in watching NetFlix in comfortable pyjamas with a cup of hot chocolate and some snacks sounds perfect! I already have a little Christmas tree by the Tele that I never took down from last year. I like your perfect night in formula. :D

Cosy winter nights in are my favourite. Of course, it just wouldn't be the same without a Lush pamper session! Those pj's are also so pretty, every year me and my mum have the tradition to buy a new festive pair to wear on Christmas Eve to wake up in on Christmas morning!
