Subtle Animal Print

Oh hello Autumn, you sexy lil thing! Yup, my hair finally blends in with the background, the leaves are crunching into the floor (or sticking to our sodden feet) and it’s no longer a stretch to talk about Autumn style and you guessed it; I’m still obsessed with leopard print. I’ve got the clothes, I’ve got the shoes and the boots and now it’s time to move onto the accessories. Obviously as you’ll have noticed, animal print is big right now and I for one am not complaining about that so when Nok Nok London gave me a peek of their new choker collection, I knew the leopard print one would have my heart straight away.

I love chokers. I just think they add an instant edge to absolutely any outfit, whether it’s the grungiest or the prettiest and they’re such an easy way to totally transform the way your clothes look. Nok Nok London have some of the edgiest chokers I’ve ever seen on offer, from leopard print ones like this to frayed denim and studs, creating a refreshing, new kind of choker compared to the pretty, dainty ones we’ve become accustomed to seeing on the high street recently. These ones are a bit more gritty, edgy and statement and I absolutely love them - they fit in with my diverse style perfectly. If you haven’t heard of Nok Nok before, they’re a company that loves to experiment. Whether it’s with studs, embellishment, shades, washes or whatever else, they’re one of those brands that always have something cool and quirky on offer and for me their chokers show what their brand is about perfectly.

Because of the leopard choker and leopard boots, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit simple, opting for classic black skinnies, my trusty black bodysuit and what I now call my “troll” denim jacket (if you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about then read my post about it here). This jacket is literally one of the most worn pieces in my wardrobe right now. Thanks to the relaxed fit, the laid-back feel and the badges, it’s so easy to throw on over the top of anything and I’ve found myself reaching for it day after day.

Also, I’m not sure if you all know this but I’m currently moving into a new house (don’t worry, a house tour video will be coming ASAP!) so thanks to the absolutely abysmal customer service we have received from Sky, I’m without internet for the foreseeable future and have been relying on my parent’s house and coffee shops for a connection meaning I might be a bit slower responding to questions, emails and tweets than usual. I am doing my best though and will make sure I’m back on track as soon as Sky pull their finger out which should hopefully be very soon!

What do you think about chokers like this?
