It's Sweater Weather

It's gotten to that time of year where I open my wardrobe every morning and scream "I HAVE NO CLOTHES". This happens twice a year: once at the beginning of Autumn and once at the beginning of Spring and this time I just want all the cosy jumpers and coats. I've been waiting for it to be acceptable to get my faux fur coat out for at least a month now (I actually need this Missguided coat) and now I think it's finally time; it's finally sweater weather.

There's nothing quite like snuggling up in your favourite cosy jumper on a crisp Autumn morning, walking along with the golden leaves crunching beneath your feet and a pumpkin spice latte in your hand (but let's face it, we know it'll just be soggy brown leaves stuck to our boots and I actually hate pumpkin spice lattes) but still, Autumn is my favourite. I love wearing jumpers with bare legs at this time of year because it means you can be Autumnal without sweating to death at lunchtime (we all know that struggle!). The jumper is actually one of my favourite purchases of the new season and it's actually so budget friendly too and despite this, the quality is absolutely amazing and is so thick, something which I didn't expect from such a cheapy!

SHOP THE LOOK

I know what you're thinking too - yup, that is yet another pair of black boots in my collection but I am in love with these babies from Daniel Footwear. I love that they're more like mid-calf length instead of ankle boots because it totally changes the look of them and they look ace teamed with bare legs and a mini skirt like this one. Daniel Footwear has some absolutely stunning shoes like this that are chic and classy and not only do they have their own brand, they also stock some of the best shoe designers there are including Alexander Wang, UGG and Vivienne Westwood - I've got my eye on this drool worthy pair of Alexander Wang Boots! The heel on my pair is actually pretty high for an everyday pair of boots but I was surprised to find they're so comfy, something which I didn't expect because they don't have a platform on the front. However, I wore this outfit for a full day of walking around Durham and my feet didn't ache or rub or hurt one bit - hallelujah!

The earrings are another part of the outfit I absolutely love. I know I've mentioned this before but earrings are one of the things I usually forget to wear so recently I've made an effort to add some more to my jewellery stash and this pair of hoops from Wolf and Moon were just the ticket. I've talked about the brand before but in case you missed it, London based Wolf and Moon sell incredible handmade jewellery that mixes shapes, textures and metal and quite frankly, their jewellery is just me all over. These earrings are from their brand new collection, Collection No.5, which is inspired by architecture and interior design and the jewellery is simply beautiful. Think diamond shapes, soft colours and mixed metals with Wolf and Moon's signature edge - amazing! I don't want to say the C-word yet again but I'm thinking of them for jewellery Christmas presents! You can check out their website here to see what they have on offer!

Are you happy sweater weather is finally here?!
