I love holidays and travelling as much as the next person. Don’t we spend all year saving and looking forward to that holiday where we can escape from everyday life and all of the worries we have at home, lying by the pool with a good book without a care in the world? Despite this, I always find myself looking forward to getting home after the long journey, no matter how much fun I’ve had while away and after staying in strange hotel beds miles from home, there’s no feeling quite like sinking into your own warm bed and that’s even more true for me now I have a Leesa mattress I love.

If you haven’t heard of them before, Leesa is a mattress brand that has a new way of buying. You place your order online as quick and easy as ordering from your favourite clothes store and the mattress is delivered right to your house! I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t want to spend hours searching for a mattress, testing out different thickness, hardness, softness and everything else in a store. I just want one that is comfortable and gets me a great night’s sleep and with Leesa I knew that wouldn’t be a problem. The mattress is made of three layers of foam that adjust to your body to give a great night’s sleep and because the unnecessary overheads of other brands are eliminated, such as salespeople and stores, the luxury mattress comes at a fraction of the price of what you would pay in store!
However, despite all of this, my favourite thing about the brand is its social impact approach. Not
only do you have 100 days to test out the new mattress and if you don’t like it you can send it riiight
back, but any returned mattresses are donated to charities or recycled, an approach I really value in a company especially in this day and age! Leesa also donates one mattress for every ten sold
and plants a tree for every mattress sold so every time you buy and keep a mattress you’re also
helping charitable causes and the environment.
I can’t tell you how excited I was to place my order (even if that is a very “adult” thing to say!) as
I’m not joking at all when I say that every time Karl and I woke up on our previous mattress I
shouted “I bloody hate this mattress!” It was old, it was ragged, it gave me a bad back and anyone
who has been due a new one knows how much that can ruin your day and ruin coming home from a trip!
When my mattress arrived, I got a bit of a shock - how can a double mattress be that small!? We
opened the box to find the mattress rolled into a compact sausage and were still amazed, even
though we knew it would be. You can see by the photos just how much the mattress expanded; it
literally grew as we opened the wrapping!
After sleeping on the Leesa mattress for over a week now, I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s
transformed the way I sleep. If I looked forward to coming home to my own bed before, I’ll probably
look forward to it more than the holiday now! There’s nothing like sinking into the bed, wrapped up
in a big warm burrito of happiness with Karl, the two pooches and a cup of tea on the bedside
cabinet after a long plane journey or car ride or even after a ten hour shift at work. There’s one
thing for sure; although going away and travelling is all well and good, coming home is great too
and it’s even better when you know you’ve got a big, comfy bed to come back to.
Although Leesa’s luxury mattresses are already amazingly priced, they’re giving you lot a
whopping £50 off! Just click here to go to their website and the discount will be automatically applied at the checkout!

THIS POST IS IN COLLABORATION WITH LEESA. ALL WORDS AND OPINIONS REMAIN MY OWN.
I love their ethos I'm just not sure I could buy a mattress without trying it first!! Granny over here hasn't fully come into the 21st century of buying everything online!ha

I was dubious too but I think the fact you can send it back within 100 days makes not trying it first less scary! :) xx
DeleteI love how cute this post it! You and Karl look so cute! The mattress sounds ace x

DeleteI would so love a mattress like this when I've settled in a flat - I hate having an uncomfortable mattress and I am SO fed up of the cheap ones in student lets! x

DeleteHow cute do you and Karl look!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you though, as much as I love travelling there is nothing better than getting home, having a cuppa and sleeping in your own bed again.
