When I'm away in a hot country, I love the evening wear outfits and my choices for Barcelona were no exception. My first evening outfit included my favourite dress of the moment and you can easily see why. I picked this up in ZARA a couple of weeks ago (I can't find it online to give you the link!) and I think it's the perfect dress for an evening out on holiday. It's floaty with a midi fit and I love the contrasting print and metallics. I teamed it with my Michael Kors sandals (which are the comfiest shoes ever) and a messy ponytail for a laid back, comfy but smart look which was needed in the heat!
This second outfit was what I wore for our meal in the Hard Rock Cafe. The dress is such a beauty isn't tit? It's not something I'd usually go for what with all of the cut-outs and the tassels but I really loved it when I tried it on. It's a little bit different, a little bit grungy and with it being jersey material it's still really comfy. It's from the H&M Coachella collection and I think you can really see the festival vibes coming through, although I wouldn't fancy tredging through the mud with those tassels hanging down!
Finally, on our third night I wore this outfit which is a little bit more casual than the other two. We were only going for a light dinner and then to watch the Magic Fountain of Montjuic show so I didn't want to get too dressed up and this bardot top fit the bill perfectly. You may remember these lace-up shorts from my daytime lookbook and they're the kind of piece that I love on holiday. They're easy to dress up but also can be worn during the day - they're so versatile and save loads of space on extra pieces in your case! The scarf bardot top is from Topshop and is one of my favourite purchases of late as it floaty and light enough to wear on holiday but wouldn't look out of place with some skinnies and ankle boots! Can you tell versatility is a huge thing for me?
So that's what I wore on a night in Barcelona! What do you wear on an evening on a city break?
