Ruffle

My style seems to have gone rather smart and feminine this summer and I'm not complaining, especially when it means I start ordering beautiful little tops like this one. I've been a little bit obsessed with ruffles and detailing like this at the minute so when this caught my eye on Boohoo I knew I had to have it, especially when it only costs £15. Who can argue with that?! Boohoo has had some absolute bargains in at the minute and it's been one of my go-to brands when I need some everyday staples - I just find myself endlessly scrolling through their new in section *drools.*

RUFFLE SHIRT: BOOHOO / *HEELED SANDALS: c/o ASOS / NAVY RIDLEY JEANS: ASOS / BROWN FOLD OVER BAG: MULBERRY / BRACELET: PANDORA

I'm loving all of the blue tones in this outfit too. The jeans are a recent purchase from ASOS that I've just fallen in love with thanks to the soft navy colour of them. Usually, I stick to Topshop Jamie jeans when it comes to buying a new pair of skinnies because I know they're going to be long lasting, comfortable and a great fit. However, Ridley jeans are starting to rival them as my new favs. They're cheap, tight fitting, have a fab range of colours and best of all, are quite high waisted and that's something I look for in skinny jeans. I'm quite petite so high waisted jeans make my legs feel a little bit longer and give me a bit more confidence (it's not too late for a growth spurt right?) especially when I'm wearing flatter shoes than usual.

I took this outfit to Paris with me this week so expect to be seeing it on my Instagram - isn't it the perfect city chic look?

Also I'm really pleased with how my hair is growing! I haven't cut it since November and it was up to my chin then and now it's almost at the length it was before it got the chop. Does anyone else do that? Go through the cycle of hating your hair, cutting or dying it, loving it for a few months, wanting it back how it was before? Yup, I spent 6 months growing my fringe out to decide I hated my hair without a fringe.

  9. Love that light blue with your red hair! You should seriously consider only wearing that color from now on.

And yes, I'm totally the same about my hair. I'll grow it out long, cut it chin length, and then grow it out again lol. Maybe I should start wearing wigs?
