Stepping Out Of The Fashion Comfort Zone

This time a few months ago if you'd asked me if there was anything that I would categorically never wear, I would have definitely said white jeans. For years I've said over and over again that I hate them, that they're cheesy, they're old-fashioned, that they're just not very nice and now....well, here I am - wearing my fashion arch-enemy and I actually really like how they look!

Sometimes, it's important to step out of your comfort zone when it comes to fashion. I totally understand that it's okay if you don't want to experiment or genuinely do only like one style of clothing but for me, experimentation and self-expression is what fashion is about. I encapsulate my mood, my feelings, my personality and everything else in my outfits and if there's one word to sum up my personality it's "adventurous". I love to experiment and there are so many different styles that I've come to love because I've learned to just try new things and white jeans is the latest of those styles. They look amazing for summer and although they might not be quite as versatile as the classic blue and black jeans, they're just as chic and stylish and when teamed with a contrasting colour and pattern like this Topshop blouse, they create a really eye-catching look perfect for summer days out.

Of course, in typical clumsy Amy style, I managed to get chocolate on these beauts within literally 10 minutes of putting them on. Yes, I am five years old and yes, I eat chocolate before 10am on a morning.
