Rebellious Love

It's times like this that I get sad that we can't have trees in blossom throughout the year - I mean, how beautiful is the backdrop to these photos? I don't think you realise just how down you feel about the grim, grey winter backgrounds until you see a little bit of colour and flowers injected into them and I don't know about anyone else but I love photos with bright, pretty backgrounds. Karl's street is lined with these beautiful trees and they blossom every year but sadly, like with all blossom trees, they turn to green quite quickly so I'm definitely taking full blogger advantage and getting in there with the outfit shots!

So when I'm just going about my daily business, this my typical style of outfit. Jeans, ankle boots and a super chic top. This sweater is from Becksondergaard, a brand famous for it's unique Scandinavian pieces - I'm sure you've all seen their beautiful scarves around! Their pieces are amazing quality and this cosy jumper is no different - it might be Spring but that doesn't mean it isn't sweater weather! The colour palette of this is the blogger's dream with the grey and rose gold and I'm in love with it. An edgy but cute slogan written in shiny rose gold? Yes please! I'm going to Paris in a couple of weeks and this will definitely be coming with me as it's the perfect travelling piece - comfy and stylish!

I love adding shirts underneath sweaters like this - it's such a class pairing and just makes the casual jumper a bit smarter for a day out or something (not that the jumper really needs anything else - it looks amazing just on it's own!) Layering sweatshirts is one of my favourite styles though. It may be a little bit "geek" but I think roll neck tops look so good under a round neck jumpers, especially when the roll neck is a contrasting colour.

What do you think about layering sweatshirts and jumpers?
