My Adventure Travel Bucket List

Whilst I do occasionally like to relax on a beach or by a pool, at heart I'm definitely an adventurer. I love to explore new places and as you'll probably already know, I'm not the type to go on holiday and never leave the hotel complex. I like to get out there and experience things and see things which is why my holiday to Egypt last year was one of my favourite ever trips; I went scuba diving, went inside one of the Pyramids of Giza, saw the Sphinx, ate dinner in the middle of the desert with the Bedouin people. It was truly amazing and I'm definitely not done adventuring. Here are a few of the things I definitely want to do, hopefully ASAP!

SHARK CAGE DIVING

Ever since I was a little girl I've been fascinated with sharks and I vividly remember pouring over the "shark" chapter in my encyclopaedia (yes I was a nerd) so shark cage diving has been on my to-do list for so many years. Don't get me wrong it would be terrifying but can you imagine seeing these amazing creatures up close? They may be one of the most feared creatures on earth but sharks are also beautiful, powerful and truly fascinating so I would absolutely love to be able to do this one day.

TREK AMERICA

No one understands how much I want to do Trek America. It is literally one of my dreams. I've visited New York twice now and it's such an amazing city that I love but my life would be made if I could see some more of America and I have spent hours drooling over the itineraries on the Trek America website. Recently though, I've been looking at the Trek America Canada Tours and my oh my do they look breathtaking. I mean, look at the above picture of Lake Louise! I've travelled a lot but I've never been "travelling" for a long period of time if you know what I mean so this is something I really must do - Canada looks like the adventurer's dream!

SKYDIVING IN AUSTRALIA

Australia is another country I'd love to visit one day (seriously do I even need to explain why?) and what better way to see it than from the sky? I know I'd be absolutely terrified when it came to actually jumping out of the plane but it's something I'd love to say I've done and I can't even imagine the thrill of doing it! Of course, diving on the Great Barrier Reef is another thing I'd love to do - Australia just has so much to offer for adventurers like me!

WILDLIFE PRESERVATION

As a huge animal lover, I would absolutely love to be able to go on a trip that involved some kind of volunteering with endangered animals and wildlife charities. There are quite a lot of trips like this you can do and I found one of my dream trips involving rescuing injured sea turtles and helping release them back into the ocean. Doesn't that sound amazing?! Not only do you get to experience amazing countries and see beautiful things, you get to give back to the environment and rescue animals in need.
