I'm not going to lie - I very rarely do truly casual outfits and I just love getting dressed up, even when I'm not going anywhere. Even when I do have what I consider a "slouchy" outfit on I've usually teamed it with a smart jacket or pair of heeled boots but sometimes it's nice to take a step back, dress it down and really feel comfortable and chilled with your outfits, especially at this time of year when us students are facing exams, deadlines and everything else stressful you can think of! However, you don't have to compromise your style in favour of looking comfy - there is more to comfortable dressing than sweatshirts and jogging bottoms!

Take this outfit for example - sassy slogan tee? Check. Comfy slouchy jeans? Check. Flat comfy shoes? Check. Yet it still looks super stylish. The top is definitely one of my favourites right now - I'm sure you're all well aware of my addiction to the classic striped tee and I am partial to a good ol' slogan as well so this tee has the best of both for me! Daisy Street is absolutely full of quirky and cute pieces like this (watch out for another one of their tees coming soon on here!) and they are perf for casual, go-to outfits. Their pieces give off such an effortlessly cool vibe and they are so affordable it's unreal. This little tee costs just £13.99!
Also, when it comes to casual dressing, many people think that jeans are a no-go for comfort but I think this is untrue. Skinny jeans can definitely be uncomfortable especially when they're stiff and so tight you've literally poured yourself into them so when I want to feel comfortable but still look like I've made an effort, loose fitting jeans are the way to go. These boyfriend jeans are also from Daisy Street and I don't know about you but I think they're a great alternative to the classic yet restrictive skinnies! They look great with slouchy tees and flats like I've done here but I also love the way they look with a pair of ankle boots or even a pair of strappy sandals! They really are so versatile and are definitely a must have for casual dressing.
