You know when you've been swooning over a pair of boots for as long as you can remember and when you finally get them you feel like your life is complete? Yep, that's how I felt when these Public Desire beauts landed on my doorstep last week and they're the exact style of black boots I was looking for. I've had literally tonnes of black ankle boots come and go from my life and I've never been in love with a pair quite like I am with the Chloe Perspex Heel pair. I mean, just look at them!

SHOP THE LOOK

I'm sure you've noticed me wearing my beloved New Look patent boots in virtually every outfit for the past six months - I just about lived in those boots! Sadly, they have gone to shoe heaven - I wore them so much that they were scratched to pieces, they were just about wrecked and then the heel fell off the other day whilst I was out (RIP booties). I wore them so much that I knew another pair of patent beauties had to fill their place and I knew I could count on blogger fav Public Desire to fill the hole. 

Public Desire are always right up to date with the trends and at the moment, perspex heels are huge. I've seen them on so many blogger Instagram accounts and it is definitely for good reason. They add such a futuristic, cool vibe to any outfit (especially when teamed with the metallic leopard print on the skirt!) and they've been such a daily staple for me, definitely filling the black boot shaped void I've been experiencing! 

However, what I love most about these boots is the style of them. The heel is perfect height for me for everyday wear - not too small, not too high - but it's the length I love. They're a little bit longer than your standard ankle boot shape meaning they're more calf length on someone who's a bit shorter than me and I love it. They look absolutely amazing with skinny jeans tucked in and I cannot express just how much I love them!
