I may spend every weekend there but that doesn't mean I love The Quarry Burn any less. I live in a tiny little village called Hunwick in the North of England and if you're not from the area, you definitely won't have heard of it. It sits just a few miles outside of Durham and is home to the Quarry Burn, which has just had a complete make over in the restaurant and it looks fabulous. These are a few of the photos I took of the new restaurant and I'm really happy with how they turned out so I just wanted to put them on my blog to share with you all.
The new restaurant is a blogger's dream with it's cosy booths, bright walls, minimal decor, a big fire place, shabby chic finishing touches...it has everything that makes a great interior photograph and I loved taking these.
Not only is the interior uh-mazingggg, the food is to die for. With a three course happy hour menu on every evening until half 7 and the rest of the menu costing from around £12 to £19, you can guarantee you're going to get a high quality, home cooked meal for an amazing price. My favourite thing though has got to be the chips - they home made. It's not very often you go to restaurants now and get home made chips so that's a part of my evening that I always look forward to!
Anyway I'll let the photos speak for themselves. I just wanted to share a little bit of my photography with you that might not usually make it to the blog and these photos are the perfect place to start!
