Love Me Beauty Box: April 2016

In the March Love Me Beauty Box, the brand focus was on the new addition Rodial but this time, we've got even more newbies including the highly anticipated addition Make up Forever. I say it time and time again but that's what I just love about receiving the LMB box every month - the chance to try new brands before splashing the cash. I've never tried anything from Make Up Forever so I couldn't wait to try out the High Definition Powder and the Excessive Lash Mascara! Also, this month's box didn't actually come in a box but in a little black make up bag so not only do you get all of the beauty goodness, you also get a new make up bag that's perfect for putting your handbag essentials in!

So first thing's first - Make Up Forever. I'm sure you've all heard of the brand before but unlike a lot of bloggers, I hadn't gotten around to trying it. The LMB box contained a mini bottle of the Excessive Lash mascara and this is something I have fallen in love with. It separates the lashes perfectly, adding length without being clumpy and I'd definitely splash out on the full size version of this. For now, I'm saving this little treasure for my travels over the summer - it'll fit into my hand luggage nicely! Now, the HD powder was something I wasn't too keen on. Don't get me wrong it was okay - it mattified my face and did what it said on the tin but I just couldn't love it. It didn't seem to last that long and my god is it messy. I literally got powder everywhere! As this costs around £22 to buy, I'm glad I got to try this one out first as it's not something I would buy myself. Another bonus of the LMB box!

A beloved beauty blender was also included in this box and surprise, surprise I love it. I knew I would though - I've been using them for a while now and was actually in need of a new one so this came at just the right time. We also have a couple that I haven't tried yet in this month's box, including Dr Lipp Nipple Balm for Lips, Caudalie Paris Serum and Cleansing Oil. I can't wait to try the Cleansing Oil though as I've got one of those blogger instinct good feelings about it!

Finally, another highly anticipated addition to LMB is Tangle Teezer. Yup you read that right! How cool is that? Tangle Teezer is a brand we all know and love and I know I couldn't live without mine now! However, I didn't know they did Blow Dry Brushes until this arrived in this month's LMB and it's actually really great. It's heavy, thick and perfect for getting a big bouncy blow dry but I imagine it would work a lot better for someone with long thick hair (or someone who actually knew how to blow dry properly!!) and although I do really like this brush I think it'll work even better when my hair's a little longer.
