Spring is well and truly upon us (although someone seems to have forgotten to tell the weather in the North...) and with the arrival of sunshine comes the need to give our decor a little but of an update to coincide with the brighter feeling of Spring. Now, I don't mean a complete overhaul of our home decor every time a new season rolls in (we'd spend every day of our lives decorating!) but I know I always want to change up a few different accessories or pieces in my room just for a little bit of an update so I've put together a few pieces here that are bound to give your decor a bit of a Spring boost!
First of all, I absolutely adore the lighting I've included here. My room has lots of copper accents so either of these beauties would compliment it nicely, especially the orb glass pendant light which would also give a really bright, modern twist to my decor. I love lighting like this and I've seen this style around more and more over recent months and I think it's the little details with pieces like this that really make them. For example, the gold twisted wire adds such a nice effect to this light; subtle but effective.
Rugs can really change the whole feel of a room and that's why I think this colores rug is perfect for spring. The colours are woven together beautifully to create the watercolour paint effect, featuring soft blues, creams and natural tones which would work so well with copper accents for a warmer spring vibe.
Finally, I'll mention the book tower bookcase. I love a good book but sometimes I think the bulky bookcases that we're accustomed to can overpower a room and fill up too much space. These ones however, are thin, open and minimalistic whilst still keeping the books on display, perhaps better than a traditional bookcase would! I love it.
All of these pieces are available from Adventures In Furniture, or AIF, a brand stocking beautiful minimalistic and stylish pieces like the ones featured here. All of the furniture available from AIF is built to last meaning that they really are investment pieces, perfect for updating your decor!
