New York Outfit: Faux Fur

CLERKENWELL MEDIUM GRAB BAG: c/o RADLEY / PERSOL SUNGLASSES: c/o DISCOUNTED SUNGLASSES / GREEN STRAP OXFORD WATCH: c/o ELI BEAUMONT / DISC EARRINGS, LOVE KNOT BRACELET: c/o COCO & CLEO / *FAUX FUR COAT, KHAKI JUMPER: TOPSHOP / POINTED ANKLE BOOTS: c/o NEW LOOK

I couldn't go away on a freezing cold city break to New York without packing my favourite faux fur beauty now could I? On the Sunday that we had booked to go up the Statue of Liberty I knew we were going to be outside all day so wanted to make sure I was all wrapped up and what better way to do that than in faux fur? As I mentioned in yesterday's New York outfit post, when it comes to relatively simple outfits like this, accessories are really what make it and luckily my suitcase was jam packed with every type of beautiful accessory I needed.

First of all, I'll introduce you to the absolute saviour of my trip - my beautiful grab bag from Radley. I know I said yesterday how much I loved my mini Michael Kors bag but this Radley beauty stood by me from the beginning of the trip to the very end. I used it as my hand luggage on the flights and it was the perfect size and shape to fit my book, purse, passport and all the other bits and pieces you need for an 8 hour flight. Not only that, but when I was spending long days walking around the city like on the day we visited the Statue of Liberty, it was nice to have a bag big enough to put my camera in because, as I'm sure all of you guys understand all too well, big DSLRs can be very heavy after a couple of hours! Check out Radley's whole range of cross body bags - they're perfect for travelling!

However, not only was the bag practical, it's also the epitome of class. The dark navy leather with the subtle gold embossment on the front gives the whole bag a look of elegance without being over the top and that's something I love in a bag. I wouldn't have expected anything less from a brand like Radley though; it's one of those names that you just know is going to deliver and I wasn't disappointed!

Even though New York was absolutely freezing, on the Sunday that we were there it actually got up to around 15 degrees and the whole weekend was incredibly sunny, meaning my Persol sunglasses were a life saver. These beauties are from Discounted Sunglasses, an online retailer offering genuine designer sunglasses at huge discounts. For example, these lovely tortoiseshell ones have a massive 53% saving, meaning you can get high-end sunglasses without breaking the bank. Sunglasses are always such a handy thing to carry with you during trips, no matter where you're going. We all know how unpredictable the weather is and the change in temperature in New York just proved that you need to be prepared for all circumstances!

Everyone knows how much I love a watch (seriously my wrist feels naked without one) and I just love simple, classic watches. This Oxford watch is from Elie Beaumont and although it looks very expensive, it comes in at under £50, a real bargain for a high quality watch like this. I went for the classic style but mixed it up a lil bit and got it with a green strap, an unorthodox colour for a watch but I think it works beautifully. It really compliments the whole outfit and because it's still quite simple, it won't be hard to style.

Finally, I'll give a quick mention to the other two jewellery pieces, one of which I actually forgot to put in. (bad blogger alert I know!) The knot bracelet and the drop earrings are both from Coco & Cleo, an online fashion retailer selling on trend jewellery, bags and clothing. I think the bracelet is my favourite; I'm not usually a fan of bracelets other than my Pandora but I love the simplicity of this one and I love the rope design! I did forget to put the earrings in though - honestly I'm terrible with earrings! I just can't remember to put them in but I'll save this pair for a special occasion I think as they're a bit more dressy!

Watch out for tomorrow's New York outfit post!

  14. he shape of this kind of shoe is very peculiar, the toe cap is upturned, like a playful little man. There are many small and exquisite patterns on it, which is refreshing. There is also a multi-functional button on the frye boots sale, this button communicates with our hearts, can understand our various needs, and meet our different wishes.
The hot summer is here, the hot sun is scorching the earth, and people are sweating from the heat. At this time, as long as you lightly press the button, the frye booties will immediately become breathable sandals, and will continuously send out cool breeze, which allows us to feel the precious coolness in the hot summer.
The snowy winter is coming, and the biting cold wind made us tremble. At this critical juncture, we only need to press a button, and the frye sandals will immediately become a pair of warm and soft cotton shoes. Let us feel the long-lost warmth in the cold winter day.

  15. The pupil is actually arainbow contact, a kind of cosmetic lens. In addition to the function of correcting vision, it also has uses in cosmetics and medical treatment. It is to change the color of the pupil through the light green eyes, which has a fashionable beauty effect, generally for personal and professional needs.
    Precautions for wearing cosmetic contacts
    1. It is not advisable to use cosmetic contact lenses for a long time, especially the cheap ones. The air permeability and smoothness are not good. Long-term wearing can easily cause ocular edema, hypoxia and jealous effects that affect eye health.
    2. It is not easy to use products other than the care solution to maintain the naruto eye contacts, because only the care solution can protect the material of the cosmetic contact lenses from changing, and perform the functions of disinfection and deproteinization.
    3. It is not advisable to wear a small center aperture, because if the center aperture is too small, it will block the line of sight, which is unsafe when driving or at night.
