Brand Focus: Rodial

Exciting news! Rodial are now going to be included in the Love Me Beauty monthly beauty boxes!! If you've never heard of Love Me Beauty, you can read my previous blog post all about them but in short, LMB is the monthly box tailored to you and your skincare, make up or hair care needs. Recently, new brands have joined LMB and Rodial is just one of them but who are Rodial and what are their products like? Well, you've come to the right place to find out as I'm testing out some of their make up and skincare in today's post!
So first things first, Rodial skincare is designed to boost collagen in the face and create a natural, flawless look and as all of their skincare contains pomegranate ellagic tannin, their products are perfect for those wanting to maintain a youthful look. They also offer a range of luxury make up, including products for the face, lips and contour, aiming to really sculpt the face and create a long-lasting finish. I'll admit that I'd never heard of Rodial before I tried these products but sometimes I think that's better - I was going in with no preconceptions and I couldn't wait to see what I thought of the products.

I love a good face mask - pamper sessions just aren't the same without them! - so I couldn't wait to try these two products from the Rodial skincare range. The Pink Diamond Instant Lifting Face Mask is one of those sheet face masks that you lie over the skin and leave on for up to 30 minutes to give your face a really intense pampering session. The mask contains grapefruits and diamond powder (does it really get more luxurious than that?!) and is designed to instantly brighten your skin and lock in moisture. I'll admit that my skin felt instantly refreshed after using this. I don't suffer from dry skin and I think those that do would notice more of a difference but my cheeks and jawline felt so smooth when I took this off. Yes it is on the pricier side but I think when it comes to indulgent skincare you do get what you pay for and if you suffer from really dry or really tired skin this would probably work for you! Plus don't you just love walking around looking like horror movie character Jason and terrifying everyone in your house?!

The second skincare product I tried was the Snake Neck Mask, something I was really excited by. We're all accustomed to face masks and almost everyone has used them at some point but a neck mask? Now that's something I hadn't heard of before. This mask is made to tighten up and lift the neck area, fighting against wrinkles and dry patches on the neck. Again, I'm only 22 so I think this would be more of a pre-emptive strike for me against aging but after leaving this on for twenty minutes my neck felt so smooth! I think the neck is somewhere you never think of as needing any love but just like your face it goes through a lot so I think the neck mask is something we'll be seeing a lot more of in the future.

Rodial also have a specially selected make up range that I tried a few bits from and you can see all of these on my lil face above, the most obvious being the Glamstick Lipstick in Psycho. As someone who's usually a fan of a matte finish, I was pleasantly surprised by this. It's buttery and adds shine to the lips without being overpowering. I'm someone who likes a statement eye so I don't really like glossy lips but this one gets just the right balance. The shade is a beautifully coral-red so is perfect for summer too! I've also got the Glamolash Mascara on here and I've been loving this on my bottom lashes! The brush is quite thin and it makes it easy to get those small, pesky little hairs in the corner of your eye so this has made a fab addition to my make up collection.

Finally, my favourite make up product from Rodial has got to be the Glamobrow. It's pigmented enough to give a lot of definition for big, bold brows but can still create a natural looking shape with natural hairs still visible. I also love the little brush on the end because it makes blending so much easier!

Look out for Rodial in your next Love Me Beauty Box and if you're not already signed up you can get a huge 50% discount using the code amyelizabeth50! You can sign up for Love Me Beauty on their website!
