Sun, Moon and Stars

*BABY DOLL DRESS IN SUN MOON AND STARS PRINT: c/o MOTEL ROCKS / VELVET ANKLE BOOTS: ASOS (similar) / *ALL SAINTS LEATHER JACKET: c/o JOHN LEWIS / FLOPPY HAT: TOPSHOP / *WATCH: c/o DANIEL WELLINGTON

I finally got it. A dress with that Motel sun, moon and stars pattern on it. You know the one. I've been obsessed with the print for months and it's become a firm blogger favourite that so many people have been sporting, and for good reason. Not only does it remind me of the Daenarys and Khal Drogo sitch on Game of Thrones ("You are the moon of my life, my sun and stars"), but it's such a cool and quirky print that gives off a bit of a gothic vibe. It's a bit chilly for it at the minute but it's got a super cool lace up back that will look absolutely ace in the summer and this babydoll style is perfffff for wearing on holiday.

Of course, I had to team it with my floppy black hat - I just can't get enough of the American Horror Story Coven witch dressing! God I am on fire with the amazing TV series references today.

This is one of those dresses that would look absolutely amazing with some bright red lippy and chunky Dr Martens but I decided to go a little bit more unconventional and add my beloved pink velvet boots. It's not that often I get to wear them without fear of them being completely ruined by the awful weather so as soon I see an opportunity, I seize it. Bring on the warmer weather where we can banish black tights and wear our favourite shoes until our heart's content!

  2. The dress is gorgeous and those boots 😍 and I totally get what you mean about the weather but I go to university in the north so the suede is still hiding in my wardrobe at the moment!

  4. I agree with you, this outfit would really look beautiful with some red lipstick, but either way you look absolutely amazing. I love the way the dress and the hat and the jacket work together. It's truly an outfit I'd wear myself.
