Christmas Gift Guide: The Techie and the Beauty Buff

RED 5 U4 HELICOPTER (£25) / SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-WX220 CAMERA (£109) / RED5 WIRELESS HELIUM SPEAKER (£50) / SONY WHITE OVER EAR HEADPHONES (£29.99) / NESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE (£149) / IPOD SHUFFLE (£36) / USB LIGHTBULB (£10) / VIRTUAL REALITY HEADSET (£125) / SKINNYDIP IPHONE 6 CASE (£18) / BLOGGER SELFY BUNDLE (£35) / UNTIL DAWN PS4 GAME (£59.99) / SELFIE STICK (£19.95) / LOMOGRAPHY GOLD CAMERA (£89)

It can be hard to shop for those who love a bit of tech at Christmas as it can get very pricey so you really have to look for the best deals and the best prices you can. It also pays to think outside the box a little bit and think of something that might be a little less conventional the average gift. Sure, an iPad is lovely but sometimes it's a little bit more special to think of something more out there. The virtual reality headset is one of those things, as is the lightbulb USB but I think my favourite little thing here is the "Blogger Selfie Kit" - I mean how bloody cool is that?! Well played Topshop! The two cameras are also such a good idea and they both come it at reasonable prices as far as cameras go too.

URBAN DECAY GWEN STEFANI PALETTE (£40) / SKINNYDIP HOLOGRAPHIC WASH BAG (£18) / KORRES MINI SHOWER GEL SET (£10) / HAPPY JACKSON LIP BALM (£3.95) / TOPSHOP CHRISTMAS NUDE EYES GIFT SET (£22) / LIZ EARLE CLEANSING START KIT (£15) / CLINIQUE SKINNY MEETS CHUBBY COLLECTION (£28) / MAC PURPLE PIGMENTS (£26) / GHD CURVE CURLING TONG SET (£129) / YSL TE BLUR PERFECTOR (£31.50) / BIRD STANDING MIRROR (£25)

When it comes to a beauty buff, beauty gift sets and palettes are the way to go. No lover of beauty would begrudge anyone who brought the new Gwen Stefani x UD palette into their lives and I think make up gift sets are something that you wouldn't ordinarily buy for yourself so make a really lovely gift. I love the MAC pigments gift set and it's actually a really great price too! If you're looking for something a little cheaper, Topshop have some really lovely gift sets and their make up is fab quality too so they're a bit of a failsafe really. Skincare can be a bit harder to buy as some people can be so particular about it so something like a starter kit or a set with a few different options in is probably the way to go, in case of the risk of getting it completely wrong!
