The Boots of My Dreams

Welcome to my life ankle boots of dreams. I'd had these babies in my "saved for later" section for absolutely ages when I decided that I really did need them in my life and I wasn't disappointed when they arrived. The crushed velvet looks even better in real life and the pink is just so pretty. I've been swooning over them since they arrived and I just want to wear them all day, every day. Boots like this are absolutely essential in my eyes; a quirky bit of footwear can add just a bit of an edgy twist to everyday plain outfits like this one and it really shows, as people didn't stop commenting on them all day when I wore them. Yep my life is now complete now I own these babies.

The rest of the outfit is pretty simple but I meant for it to be that way to keep as much emphasis on the boots as possible, but we all really know you can't beat a good jeans and jumper combo on a miserable day. I got this jumper from Zara this time last year and it's still one of my favourite in my wardrobe. It's oversized but not so much so that I look swamped, and it's one of the only jumpers I've ever owned that actually keeps me warm. Yep, most of my other jumpers are actually really thin and "holey" if you know what I mean?! So although they look amazing they're not actually that great for freezing cold 9am lectures. This one is the complete opposite and it is basically like being wrapped in a huge, thick blanket. So much love for it!
