Psyche A/W15 Event

A couple of weeks ago, Karl and I headed into Middlesbrough centre for a night with Psyche, a store stocking mens, womens and childrens designer brands. Neither of us had ever been to Psyche before so we were really excited to see what it was like, especially Karl as he's a big fan of brands such as Ralph Lauren and Paul Smith, brands which can be found in Psyche. After a bit of a kerfuffle for want of a better word (including road works traffic jams and getting lost), we finally arrived at the store, where we were greeted with prosecco and we just got there in time for the start of the fashion show.

First, the show featured some cute little kiddies modelling the store's children's section. Oh my word, those children were absolutely adorable and my heart just about melted, especially when one of the boys brought a dog in. They all look fabulous! The guys were up next and they were sporting some seriously hot styles - check out that suit (pun intended)! The looks were bang on trend and the guys look fantastic, with styles from grunge to preppy, there was something for all ages and styles.

Finally, the gorgeous girls took to the catwalk and it'll come as no surprise that the theme was "wow pieces." The pieces definitely lived up to their name making them absolutely perfect for the party season, with plenty of sequins, glitter, dresses and statement hairstyles to go round. The hair was simply stunning on all of the girls, featuring rings, braids and slicked back chic, the hair was done absolutely beautifully. I think my favourite piece had to be the sequin jumpsuit - if that's not a wow piece worthy of the Christmas party I don't know what is!

After the show, X Factor's Josh Daniel presented the raffle prizes (which were amazinggg - gutted I didn't win but not surprised given my luck!) and we were then provided with more drinks and nibbles. Nibbles are my absolute favourite - isn't tiny food the best? - and I think I ate about three people's worth of cheese and onion quiche but let's not talk about that... The food was all provided by The Keys and it was wonderful so hats off to them for the best quiche I've ever tasted!

After looking around the store and swooning at the beautiful clothes, Karl and I were handed some amazing goody bags, including scarves, ties, Versace perfume and chocolate santas - yep, they were fantastic!

Thank you to Psyche for having us - we had a fabulous time!
