The Sunday Post: It's My Birthday! (And A Giveaway!)

Happy Sunday everyone and a huge happy birthday to myself hehe! Yep that's right, I'm 22 today and nope I'm still not ready to adult! I love my birthday because for me it marks the start of my favourite time of year. The start of October brings my birthday, followed by the run up to Halloween, which I'll admit I spend most of sitting in my bedroom with the lights off pretending I'm not home for trick or treating children but hey I love how festive it is, followed by Bonfire Night and then the big one - Christmas!  I'm not going to lie, I'm a sucker for decorations and festivities and I'm the furthest from a Scrooge you can ever imagine. 

Anyway my birthday is just going to be a quiet one with some meals out and a bit of shopping and lots of cake and sweet treats because that's what you do on your birthday isn't it? Stuff yourself with chocolate and cake so that you couldn't possibly look at it again? Serenata Flowers were kind enough to send me over this absolutely beautiful *Time For Tea Hamper which arrived just before my birthday last week and I'm over the moon with it. I love sweet little gifts like this and as someone who drinks about 20 cups of tea a day (and that isn't an exaggeration), this would be a perfect, thoughtful gift for my birthday. 

The hamper came with a pot of loose leaf English Breakfast tea, two pots of homemade jam, a pack of white chocolate coated raspberries (which I could have eaten an absolute truck load of!), along with some chocolate and raspberry biscuits. There aren't enough heart eye emojis in the world to describe how I felt about the gift.
