The New Look x UNiDAYS A/W 2015 Lookbook: Womenswear

 So yesterday's post was all about Karl's A/W lookbook in collaboration with New Look and UNiDAYS and today it's my turn, with a lookbook that's all about A/W womenswear. Autumn is my favourite time of year. I just love the colours, the smells, the foods and of course, the fashion. Seventies is still going to be a biggie for this season so you'll see a lot of seventies inspired outfits in this post. Think flared sleeves, flared trousers, skinny scarves... In other words, New Look's A/W stock is dreamy.

So, on that note, lets start with a very seventies outfit - the double flare. Both the jeans and the sleeves on my top are flared which is complete seventies madness. I used to absolutely hate flared jeans but this past year I've unveiled a new love for them; they're so flattering and can really elongate the leg and they're also ridiculously comfy, which is always a plus when your trailing around university. I added the skinny scarf to add a bit of glamour. Sequins were big on the A/W catwalks and this is just a really nice subtle way to introduce them to your daily wardrobe without looking like you just rolled around in a craft store.

NAVY LONGLINE SLEEVELESS COAT / CREAM FRINGE LACE UP SHOES / CREAM TEXTURED HIGH NECK TOP / 

So, as we all know, sleeveless jackets like this one are absolute staples. Navy is one of my favourite colours to wear so this one is right up my street and when it's teamed with the cream and the lighter blue, it's the perfect smart casual look for Autumn. When it gets a bit chillier I'll be wearing a striped knit underneath but for now the high neck top looks perfect.

Now this outfit is real winter 2015. The colour of the coat teamed with the grungy twist of the leather look skirt makes it a perfect fit for the grunge trend, with a little bit of "smart university girl" thrown in there. The lip colour really finishes off the look and of course, I couldn't do any kind of lookbook without stripes.
