My First Monthly Beauty Subscription: Love Me Beauty

Monthly beauty boxes are everywhere right now and although I've seen countless reviews raving about every single one, every single month, I just haven't gotten around to signing up for one, despite me loving the idea of a nice, guaranteed box of goodies arriving on your doorstep every month. Love Me Beauty is a new kind of monthly subscription for us beauty lovers, based on the same concept as the boxes we've all heard of, but with a bit of a difference.

Love Me Beauty offers a credit system, whereby you pay a certain amount per month, and get allocated a certain amount of credits to spend on site for that month. These packages start from just £10 per month, which gives you 60 credits, worth £42. You can then spend these credits online to create your own perfect package, tailored to you and your beauty needs. This is perfect for me as I'm quite particular about the products I use on my skin so it's much better for me to be able to chose my own. The site also has it's own beauty consultants who will help you choose your products if you need any help and if you don't fancy choosing your own products and prefer a surprise when the package shows up, the beauty consultants will pick your products for you. Simple!

My first box was a surprise so I was really excited to look inside; it's like getting a present on Christmas ha! I got a pair of eyelash curlers which I was desperate for to be honest. I've never really used them before but see so many beauty gurus using them in their day to day make up routine and they've never been something I've bought so this was a really handy one. Probably my favourite item out of the pack is the Lord & Berry Crayon Lipstick in 20100. It's an absolutely stunning bright red colour and I've been wearing it non-stop since it arrived. It stays on all day, is super easy to apply and has a matte finish so is everything I love in a lipstick. The package als had a Talika Paris Bio Enzymes Mask which is meant to soothe, hydrate and repair dry skin after sun exposure. I don't have dry skin at all so I'm not sure how I'll get on with this so I'm thinking of saving it for the next time I go away somewhere and my face is going to be exposed to the sun because let's face it, up north there's not much chance of that! Finally there were two nail polishes in the box: a Lottie London polish in Prom Night and a Ciate Mini in Pom Pom, two vibrant pink shades. I've yet to use these but the colours look so lovely, especially the Prom Night Shade!

So you can see the boxes have a huge variety of products in and they're a great way to experience a lot of different brands and products that you may not normally buy. You can sign up to Love Me Beauty on their website here and can cancel your membership at any time on the rolling membership if you decide you don't like it.

If you do decide to sign up and give it a go, use the code amyelizabeth20 at the checkout for 20% discount so really you may as well give it a try while you can save a bit of cash!

Are you a fan of monthly subscriptions?

  1. I've heard about so many different beauty boxes and this one always seems to intrigue me the most. I love that you have a say in what you will receive rather than just a box full of samples! Great post :)

  7. This looks like one of the best beauty boxes I've seen. I rarely see a box that has products in it that all look like something I'd like. :)
