Suedette

We may be changing seasons but there is one thing in our wardrobes that won't be changing and that is suede. Suede has been everywhere over the past few months and I don't think it's ready to go anywhere quite yet with there being more suede skirts, dresses and jackets around than ever before. Now I think this Dorothy Perkins pinafore dress from House of Fraser is a fantastic take on the suede trend as it's super easy to layer up for the coming winter. I've paired it with a bit of clashing tee. The colours don't exactly match but hey ho that's what fashion is all about isn't it? Trying new things and finding new styles. I actually quite like the clash; reds and browns aren't something I would usually pair together but I think the clash here gives the dress a real vintage theme, sticking in with the seventies trend where all of the suede is coming from.

Will you be putting away the suede for A/W?
