Yep it's that time of year - Autumn is nearly upon us and I for one can't wait. I like summer in theory - the thought of long days with lot's of sun, warmth, ice creams and pretty outfits but in reality I don't really like it. This summer has been a bit of a wash out really with a few days of actual sun and heat here and there but mostly it's been around 15 degrees and cloudy or torrential rain, with some bizarre lightning and hailstones. That is not the summer we dream of but sadly, in the UK, it's what summer is most of the time. That's why I am well and truly ready for Autumn as usually, it lives up to it's seasonal reputation.
Give me thick winter coats like this aztec jacket from Boohoo, give me crisp, frosty mornings with white hot chocolates from Costa and pretty Autumnal colours in the trees. Also, the arrival of Autumn means it's almost my birthday and we all love a good birthday don't we!? (4th October - put it in your diary!)
Anyway this outfit has gotten me well and truly in the Autumn mood (despite me actually being on holiday at the moment). The thigh high boots were from Primark no less and cost just over £20 which I think is an absolute bargain for this style which usually come in at well over £50. The pattern on the coat is perfect for the time of year with the jazzy aztec print and contrasting colours and the name "chuck on" sums the jacket right up.

Can't decide what I love more, the boots or that incredible jacket! I feel like the North-East has been in Autumn mode for a month or so now, but bring on the chunky knitwear and coats!
