FRAGRANCES SENT C/O HUGO BOSS
Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for a good perfume and I'm definitely the kind of person who would spend a fortune on them. Over the years I've discovered so many fragrances I love and have definitely got firm favourites when it comes to brands and designers and Hugo Boss perfumes definitely make that list, particularly after I tried out their new BOSS RUNWAY collection. The collection features three different scents, each inspired by a different style, combining Hugo Boss' famous perfumes with their legendary runway collections and each scent is designed to reflect a piece from Jason Wu's debut collection. Fashion and fragrance? Yes please!!
I tried each of the perfumes out so I'll just write a little piece about each so you can get an idea of what they are like, which is my favourite and which one you might like if you're in need of a new perfume. I will just warn you though - I am absolutely rubbish at describing what things smell like so please do excuse me if I say things like "it smelled nice" too many times - I do try!!
Okay so the first one I tried out of the collection was the BOSS Ma Vie perfume and before I go onto to absolutely rave about the scent of this one, can we just take a moment to appreciate the beautiful packaging of these perfumes? They're sleek and elegant, each one having a different sketch on the bottle to correspond with the piece the perfume represents which is such a cool idea!
Anyway, this was the first one I tried out of the perfumes and this is probably my favourite of the three. I'm a huge fan of floral perfumes and much prefer them to fruity so this is right up my street. The scent is described as "floral and fruity" but I can definitely smell the floral rose notes coming through the most with just an underlying hint of the fruits, which is probably why I love it so much. It's a very strong, feminine scent which is understandable considering this particular perfume is inspired by confident and daring women, with the perfume reflecting bespoke suits and jackets. I've definitely worn this one the most and it's become my most used everyday perfume. So. Much. Love.
So the next perfume is inspired by successful and elegant women, meant to be a daytime scent for women who are always on the go but are still glamorous (yep that's probably all of us blogger's included in this category!!). The sketch on this one is a white silk dress which I think sums up this scent perfectly; it's a lot lighter than the Ma Vie perfume above and I thought I could smell more woody notes coming through. The top notes are mainly white bouquet flowers, which means this is such a "bright" scent if you know what I mean? Anyway this is another winner for me because not only did it smell lovely, it really lasted all day without being overpowering - a combination which is tricky to get right.
Now this one is safely in my perfume stash just waiting for a posh event or evening out. Inspired by the little black dress, this perfume is described as "seductive sophistication" and I can't think of a better way to describe this. In my opinion this is the sweetest of the scents, with the jasmine and white peach coming through most, and as I absolutely adore jasmine, that is definitely a good thing. My favourite thing about these scents is that the fruity tones are more underlying, which allows the floral scents to really stand out, so if like me you prefer sweeter, feminine scents, these are definitely right for you!
I'm over the moon with these perfumes and can't rave enough about them. I really think it's worth spending more on perfumes as the scents of designers like Hugo Boss are so long lasting and really high quality, a few squirts will see you right through the day.
What are your favourite perfumes recently?

I love floral perfumes! The first one in your post is probably the one I'd go for! I never seem to venture away from Marc Jacobs when it comes to perfumes but I think I need to try something different haha!
