*PERSONALISED LETTERBOX CAKE: C/O BAKERDAYS
Hey guys! So as some of you may already know, my mum and dad are foster parents and it was my foster sister Courtney's 18th birthday at the weekend. As we're all too aware, 18 is the big birthday in the UK and Courtney had a fantastic birthday full of booze, presents, gift vouchers and of course, cake. BakerDays, an online bakery specialising in personalised cakes of different sizes, were kind enough to send Courtney one of their personalised letterbox cakes over to celebrate her 18th and she loved it. She's a huge fan of Keith Lemon so when I saw this design on their site I knew it was the one. As I only ordered a few days before her birthday I didn't expect it arrive in time but it arrived literally two days later in the sweetest little tin! Don't worry about the cake arriving safely - my cake arrived without a scratch on it and BakerDays guarantee the cake will be in perfect condition or you'll get your money back which I think is fantastic.
We lit the cake on the morning of Courtney's birthday and she was over the moon with it! She already had a big cake for her birthday meal the day after her birthday so this one was the perfect size for just the family on her birthday morning. Granted we only got a small slice each but that small slice was light, sweet and downright delicious. (currently feeling like Homer Simpson thinking "mmm....cake." in my head!)
Now onto the fun part... BakerDays are giving you the chance to win one of their personalised letterbox cakes! Everyone loves a bit of cake whether it's your birthday or not so make sure you enter through the Rafflecopter below to be in with a chance of winning!

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome cake!!! It would make anyone's birthday to see a personalised cake. I also like the size of it because sometimes, those huge cakes with icing are horrible to eat :(

ReplyDeleteI can't believe the cake fitted through the letter box, it's such a good idea! I much prefer having a smaller cake on my birthday, so this would be perfect. I love the Bright Side cakes - the cards are really cute too!
