Amsterdam Outfit 2: Layering It Up

I'll just say sorry about my very fluffy and awful hair in these photos before I start this post. It was absolutely pouring down in Amsterdam when we arrived and we all know that rain + hair = disaster so please do excuse the fluffiness! 

This was the outfit I wore on our first day in Amsterdam. Like I said above, it was very wet with on and off downpours of rain but when it wasn't raining it was actually quite warm. Yep I know, the most awkward kind of weather. So I tried to keep it a little bit summery (it is July after all!) with the Kimchi Blue playsuit but made sure I didn't freeze to death by layering it with the Boohoo turtle neck. The jumper has actually become a wardrobe staple of mine since I ordered it and I've found myself reaching for it more and more on rainy days when I just want to cosy up with a cuppa! It was perfect for our trip to Amsterdam as it was the perfect size to throw in my bag, ready to put on should the weather get a bit chilly and it came in so handy! Whats more, it cost me just £12! I am such a bargain hunter recently I know, but I'm a sucker for things that I know will last me a long time when they're so cheap! (find the jumper here)

Amsterdam was such a great place to take outfit shots. Usually at home I'm quite picky with my photos (as Karl is all too aware of haha!) but while we were away it was so easy to find little quiet streets that look amazing as a backdrop to photos! Take me back right now please!
