Amsterdam Outfit 1: The Dress and Jeans

Usually when Karl and I head off somewhere for a few days, we don't bother adding a case to our flight (£50 each way?! No thank you!) so it's essential that we both think carefully about the outfits that we pack. I take versatile and classic pieces that can be worn in different ways no matter what the weather so this grey dress from brand new site Dizen was perfect.

Firstly, let me tell you a little bit about Dizen Clothing. A brand new website that has literally just launched, Dizen sells clothes from all of our favourite brands, including Vero Moda, Mink Pink and Glamorous. Personally I love these kinds of sites as they stock brands which are right up my street (Motel Rocks obsession anyone?!) and it means you don't have to pay for delivery three times if you order from three different websites. Yes to saving all the money!

Anyway the weather in Amsterdam can be unpredictable to say the least and we knew it was going to rain while we were there so this grey midi dress had to come in my case. If it was sunny, I'd wear it on it's own with the chunky heeled platforms I also packed. Alas it was drizzly and dull and quite chilly so I teamed it with my trusty Topshop skinnies, heavy boots and leather jacket, creating a grungy but practical outfit for wandering around Amsterdam in the evening!
