The Wardrobe Staples

Yup, you guessed it. Stripes again! I'm starting to think I have a serious, serious problem with my stripes addicition. I mean, I honestly can't stop buying them. How many different variety and widths and colours and lengths of striped clothing can one possibly own?! The answer is a hell of a lot judging by my wardrobe! Anyway I'm not complaining because I honestly don't think you can go wrong with them. You can wear stripes however you want, with whatever you want and you are basically guaranteed to look super stylish. I particularly like this jumper from Exhibit; it's oversized, it's slouchy, it's comfortable, it's cropped and basically it's everything I want in a jumper, all rolled into one. 

These ASOS shorts have got to be one of my ultimate wardrobe staples too. They're so comfortable and are yet another versatile piece that can be worn for any occassion. I usually wear these for shopping days or travelling because they're so comfortable but are a bit of a nice alternative to light jeans or denim shorts. I'm not a minimalist by any means but I do think that certain minamalist pieces like these are absolute essentials for any wardrobe. They can be worn all year round with tights in the winter and bare legs in the summer and due to the very tempramental British weather, versatile and transitional pieces are a must.
