Mum In A Million

Mother's Day is just around the corner (how did that happen I swear it was Christmas five minutes ago?!) and Park Dean are running a "Mum In A Million" competition in which you could win a three or four night stay in one of their holiday parks around the UK! So, to help you all get into the Mother's Day spirit and to give you a little heads up about the competition, this is just a little post telling you all why mum is a mum in a million.

Although her cleaning habits may be questionable (hoovering at 8am is not okay!) my mum literally the hardest working person I know. Not only does she work full time helping pre-school children with special needs reach their developmental goals, she looks after my Grandma who fell quite seriously ill a few years ago and has real trouble moving around the house and doing day to day things and recently she broke her leg so has needed virtually round the clock care. My mum and dad are also foster parents and do an absolutely amazing job, also bringing up my little sister Sophie who is now eight years old (but more like an old lady who loves watching Corination Street with a cup of tea). Our house is probably the busiest ever and there's never a dull moment with the addition of two cats, three dogs and a goldfish yet my mum always manages to keep everything and everyone in line, and although she may be a bit crazy about people leaving bathroom lights on (is anyone else's mum's favourite saying "it's like Blackpool illuminations in here?!) and wearing slippers downstairs, she is definitely a mum in a million.
