On Wednesday night I was kindly invited to the Fashion Live '15 Blogger Preview Event at the Metro Centre for an evening of goodies, mini cupcakes and a little sneaky preview of the Fashion Live shows that have been going on this week! As you can see by the photos above we were well and truly spoiled on arrival with little shots of cocktails, glasses of wine, macarons, mini cupcakes (the temptation to eat the whole tray was strong). Also how cute is the little V.I.B sign?! Anyway after we'd eaten our fill of nibbles we got a little peak of the shows to come in Fashion Live. The theme was colour so everything was wonderfully bright and perfect for SS15. We can all get a little too comfortable with monochrome outfits at times so it was really refreshing for literally everything to be bright bright bright!
The collections featured brights from brands including Topshop, House of Fraser, Warehouse, River Island and Superdry and boy were they good! How frickin' beautiful is that River Island stripey two piece in the photo above?! I'm going to need to do some talking to my bank balance....
This is the first event I've been to in the North East so I was thrilled to be able to meet some other wonderful North East bloggers including the two gorgeous girls Laura from Girl Talk With Laura and Lucy from Dinosaur Dances whose blogs you should definitely be following! It's always nice to meet other bloggers especially when they're from your own neck of the woods! We were also spoilt rotten with the uh-mazing goodie bags which included an absolute stack of samples and freebies from Origins, Pantene, Krispy Kreme and so many more plus this adorable "Eat. Shop. Blog" notebook - so appropriate right?!
Anyway I'd like to say a huge thank you to intu Metro Centre and to Amy from The Girl in The Bowler Hat who did an amazing job organising the event!
