Get Glowing With Magnitone

Hey guys! I hope you all had a brilliant New Year and are recovering from the inevitable mammoth hangovers that a lot of you will have brought into 2015! Today's post is a little review of this cleansing brush from MAGNITONE which claims to give your skin a real deep clean for healthy, glowing skin! I was so excited to receive this Pixie Lott version; it's so sassy for cleansing brush and looks perfect sitting next to my mirror in my room. It's waterproof which means you can use it in the bath or shower and has a really nifty charger with it that is a magnetic little plug in attachment (probably the worst explanation of anything, ever) and overall I'm really pleased with its appearance and packaging. Now, Magnitone claims to give you clearer, softer and brighter skin in just seven days so the question is...did it live up to this?

Okay first things first I have never been okay to get my photo taken make up free so I'm actually pretty proud of myself for doing it! I know my skin has never been terrible and I don't exactly wear a lot of make up but all the same my skin is something I've always been very self conscious about.

Magnitone guarantees that if you use their cleansing brush for seven days you will get softer, brighter and clearer skin, something which I think all of us pine for, whether you're male or female, young or old. The photo on the left was my skin before I started using the brush. As you can see it wasn't terrible but it was quite dull with a few angry red blemishes. I'm one of those who tends to suffer from the awful under the skin spots around the nose and mouth and we all know what they're like - sore, red, angry and they take forever to leave your face. The photo on the left was just over a week after I started using the Magnitone brush and I am really pleased with the results. A few days after I started using it with my La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel I did get a few breakouts around my mouth which I imagine is due to all of the impurities coming to the surface of my skin (?). This cleared up after a couple of days though and as you can see I do still have a couple of red marks around my mouth but the Magnitone has gotten rid of almost all of the red marks left on my skin from old spots and I particularly noticed the difference around my nose and jawline. I have combination skin and I think the thing I have noticed the most is the lack of excess oil on my face. Usually when I wake up my skin feels really oily and shiny (gross I know) but when I use the brush on a night before bed, the oil reduces drastically and I just wake up with my skin feeling so much cleaner and fresher.

I do think my skin looks a lot more "glowy" on the after photo too. I don't know if you guys can notice or if I can just tell because it's my own skin but I just feel like my skin looks a lot healthier in general after incorporating the brush into my routine and I do feel a lot better about my make up free face (although still I'm very self-conscious!)

Anyway overall I think this brush is a real winner. It's lived up to every expectation I had of it and is really easy to use, even for the least tech savvy people. A big thumbs up from me!
