I know I usually do a lifestyle post like this on a Sunday but I just couldn't bring myself to post it yesterday when today actually marks the start of December and the official beginning of the festive season. Christmas is my favourite time of the year; I love the glitz and the sparkle and the atmosphere so I couldn't resist getting my tree up last night! There's just something so satisfying about sitting with the Christmas lights on, a few candles lit in your dressing gown with The Polar Express on...perfect Sunday or what?! Bring on the excess of chocolate and sweets, the cheesy Christmas songs, the snow (which we probably won't even see knwoing the UK..) and of course, the presents!! Karl surprised me with the Yankee advent calender a couple of days ago too and as I've only ever had plain old chocolate calenders before I was over the moon! I've obviously still got a chocolate one though - you're never too old!
So happy 1st December guys! Hope you're all enjoying your first advent chocolate and your dogs are loving their Christmas jumpers (as Luna obviously is!)

Ah, I would've loved that Yankee Candle calendar! I grew up with chocolate advent calendars as well and have upgraded to a tea calendar this year. Really like all of these cute and cozy shots :)
