It's no secret that I am obsessed with stripes; I literally cannot stop myself from buying all of the different varieties of striped tees (I'm currently looking for a red and white striped tee - send suggestions my way as I cannot find one!!) and obviously I had to add the striped skirt to my wardrobe. I just think stripes are so easy to wear and always look so chic and classy no matter what the occasion. Speaking of new additions to wardrobes I am definitely in need of a new black jumper; this one has seen better days and it probably the most ragged thing I own but I just can't bring myself to throw it away. Maybe a new black jumper will give me the strength to part with this old thing..

p.s. I know what you're thinking; bare legs in December?! This outfit was for a day at the cinema and shopping in the Metro Centre so I wasn't freezing to death in the deathly nortern winter; I'm definitely not that brave!
