A Lucky Streak

Any regular readers or followers on my social networks will know that I've been on a bit of a lucky streak recently and have won several blogging competitions, something which I am estatic about as you can imagine. A few people said they would like to see a competition haul so I thought I'd give you all a little sneak peek at my winnings!

First up was the #NextLFWModel competition, in which bloggers had to choose their favourite model (I chose Suki Waterhouse, naturally!) and design an outfit for them using clothes from the Next website. I styled a clashing checks 60s vibe outfit and won first prize which was a trip to London and £200 of clothes from Next! The first and second photo show a little peek of what I picked up with the £200, including my winter coat for this year which you can expect to see in an outfit post tomorrow. As for the London trip, Karl and I will be staying in the 5* Sanderson Hotel in London's West End as you read this, hopefully having a wonderful weekend which I'm sure we will with tickets to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as hoping to get a bit of Christmas shopping done!

You may also remember me asking everyone to vote for me in the Style Fruits "Hit The Books" competition and I was so pleased to win first prize so I'd like to say a massive thank you to every single one of you who voted for me! I won the beautiful Ralph Lauren tote bag and £300 towards my university supplies, which could not have come at a better time; I don't know about other degree subjects but anyone else who is studying law at university will know exactly how painful it is to spend £50+ on one book! Looking at the books you would not think there was £300 worth right there!

You can also check out my previous post about my £500 Debenhams win here.

So there you have it - all of my winnings from the last few weeks. If this isn't enough to persuade people to enter these competitions then I don't know what is - they are definitely worth entering and most of them are so much fun to enter anyway I couldn't recommend it enough!
