Living in the north east isn't ideal when it comes to taking blog photos; everything is just so green and to be quite honest it can get rather dull. So as you can imagine, when I was in London last weekend I took full advantage of the pretty streets and just had to get some blog photos and I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out! Anyway, I'm loving this checked skirt from AX Paris at the minute; I'm always a bit picky with skirts but this one is right up my street with the simple monochrome checks and short length. I love adding a pop of colour to all black outfits so the good old Millie bag had to make an appearance and I think it compliments the simplicity of the rest of the outfit perfectly. All in all, my ideal outfit for a day out exploring the city.
