A Few Days Away






Tomorrow my boyfriend Karl is taking me away to Edinburgh for three days as one of my Christmas presents and I cannot wait. Even though I live in the North East of England so Edinburgh is only about a 2/3 hour drive away I've never been to Scotland so I'm looking forward to going (as well as doing a bit of shopping of course!). So this is just a quick post to show you a few of the essentials I'll be taking with me. I'm by no means a light packer and with the amount of extra things I'll be coming back with I'll need some extra space in my luggage (when I visited London last year it was very difficult navigating through the underground on the way home with six bags and a life size sword of Gryffindor) so this really is a quick snippet. I'll also be taking my trusty Nikon as well as my cute little Diana Mini Lomography camera. I bought myself the Diana last year as a little treat and I'm yet to get any of my films developed and it really is something I must get round to!

I mainly wanted to show you all the most adorable little journal that arrived a few days ago - the one line a day for five years book. It really is what the title says; every day for five years you write a couple of sentences about the day so you end up with a kind of mini journal. I'm really bad at keeping full size journals even though I'd love to have one so this is perfect for me. It is the cutest little book I've ever seen and I can't wait until it starts to fill up. 

As I go tomorrow I won't be posting for a few days so I hope you all have a great week!

    Cute! I have a diana mini which I love! And you if you like that journal you should try this thing which I have called Q&A a day where you answer a question every day for five years and you see how your answers change overtime! Have a good trip! xo

    You are going to LOVE Edinburgh! It is such a dreamy city, and the architecture is amazing! I only wish I had been a little more into photography when I visited last year because I would have taken some beautiful shots *_* can't wait to see your photos if you choose to share any :)

    You will have a great time in Edinburgh! I hope the weather isn't too bad. I love Edinburgh and usually visit every 1-2 years. Lots of great shops and the dungeons are pretty fun too! xxx
